Oklahoma does not use a fixed list of qualifying conditions. A licensed physician reviews your health history and determines whether medical cannabis is appropriate under state law. If you qualify, you’ll receive a printable PDF recommendation.
Holding a valid California MMIC with your photo ID exempts you from paying state sales and use tax on medical cannabis purchases. Other taxes such as excise may still apply. The MMIC is issued by your county, not by dispensaries.
Use the official OMMA online portal. Upload your recommendation PDF, a valid photo ID, a recent photo, and proof of Oklahoma residency, then pay the state fee. OMMA reviews complete applications and issues the patient license card.
We send your recommendation digitally by email and text as a secure, printable PDF. You can save it, print it, and upload it to the OMMA portal in Oklahoma or use it at California dispensaries and for your county MMIC appointment.
A physician’s recommendation lets most patients buy medical cannabis in California. The state MMIC is optional and obtained from your county health department. Many dispensaries accept the recommendation; the MMIC adds extra benefits.
If the physician determines you do not qualify under state rules, your payment is refunded under our money back guarantee. You can try again later if your medical situation changes. State application fees, if any, are paid to the state.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. A $10 rescheduling fee applies to book a new time slot. This policy ensures fairness to other patients and helps our doctors stay on schedule.
